Everyone's favorite sports anime returns with a new spinoff called Usakame. The show follows four girls who attend Usakame, a rival school of Teekyu gals. The TQ girls (including our favorite alpaca-lover Marimo "Panty Eater" Bando) make a cameo appearance for a practice match against the RabbitTurtles. After all, they need to stay in fighting condition for the next season of Teekyu (which we all hope is soon!).

Bungo Stray Dogs

Bungo Stray Dogs is all about re-interpretations of famous Japanese authors. So that means you'll be lucky to have heard of any of them. Taking these writers' stories and turning them into superpowers (like an Atsushi Nakajima who turns into a tiger or a Kenji Miyazawa who is Not Defeated By Rain when he's hungry) the show definitely seems to try too hard to be clever. But it can't be too bad since there's this guy with ridiculous sunglasses and scarf holding a lemon. Maybe I need to brush up on my Japanese authors, since I don't remember coming across any lemon-wielding wordsmiths.

Shonen Ashibe: Go! Go! Goma-chan

I'm Goma knock you out! Momma gonna knock you out! Shonen Ashibe: Go! Go! Goma-chan is about Ashibe (a shonen) and his pet Goma (a goma). Ashibe's family adopts this adorable little seal after finding him in the middle of the road and they decide to name him Goma (how original). Goma enjoys water, ice-pops, and causing mischief. See this suave seal steal the hearts of all those around him. Go! Go! Goma-chan!

PriPara

PriPara is the show so good it gets two entries! Cotton Candy was once a human male. He gave up his humanity and became an alpaca in order to join the girls-only Pripara. He now serves the dark despot Lady Sophie as her personal chauffeur. Lady Sophie has joined forces with upcoming idols Laala and Mireille in order to start a revolution in Pripara and position themselves as the only idols.

Takamiya Nasuno!: Teekyu Spin-off

The Teekyu train just keeps barrelling down the tracks! With seven seasons so far and a couple of spinoffs this show will never be canceled! The Nasuna Teekyu Spin-off features the rich girl, Nasuno Takamiya and her butler, name not important. The spin-off keeps the long standing tradition of focusing on the sport of tennis and the girls that play it. Of course our panty-eating, alpaca-loving friend appears in the spinoff. It's just not Teekyu without her.

Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun

Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun is about Nozaki and his numerous girlfriends. And, of course, their monthly visits from Aunt Flo. With all his girlfriends in proximity of each other, mother nature decides to sync up for all of them. This leaves Nozaki with one hellish week out of every month. The show follows him and his guy friends as each month they try desperately to escape this nightmare. One month they try flying to Hawaii. It doesn't work out as planned.

Sekko Boys

The Sekko Boys star in their very own anime! Also know as The Rockies, the idol group Sekko Boys consists of Saint George, Mars, Hermes, and Medici. Can rookie manager Miki Ishimoto hold together this rock idol group? Or will St. George's terrible puns be the downfall of the group?

my LOVE story!! stars big guy Takeo Goda and little girl Rinko Yamato as they develop what some people refer to as "feelings" for each other. Standing at an astoundingly unheard of 6'4", Takeo saves the tiny Rinko from a train molester. And then from falling girder. And from a building fire. And from a bunch of other things. Rinko eventually develops stockholm syndrome and falls in love with the guy. Takeo, however, is super gay for his best friend Sunakawa so things start to get really weird.

Wakako-zake is about a freaky face Miyuki Sawashiro talking about food. She talks down to plebs who don't know how to eat correctly while stuffing her face with beer, squid, fried chicken, and whatever else Japan considers "bar food".

Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 2wei Herz!

Fate Over Kaleid Liner Prisma Star Illya Twowei Herz! is about underage girl Illyasviel von Einzbern and her underage girlfriends Miyu Edelfelt and Black Illyasviel von Einzbern as they go on a magical adventure through puberty. All three girls begin to discover their feelings and sexuality while fighting evil as magical girls. Actually, they just fight cards. The whole show is just a made-up card game that's used to get underage girls to kiss each other.

Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers

Braves of the Six Flowers is about six dudes who have flower tattoos that go around defeating demons and hunting the ultimate demon king. But then a seventh dude shows up and everyone's like "Who's not a flower?" So they try to figure out who isn't a flower. This chick eating a lemon (raw) is like a princess or a bunny or something like that. But is she a flower? Find out by watching Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers.

Magical Somera-chan

Magical Somera-chan is not about a talking Mexican hat. Instead, it focuses on four best friends as they claw, maim, and murder their way to the top of the food chain. Somera wants nothing more than to one day be the don of a mafia crime family. To do this she'll kill her friends or siblings. She'll even side with aliens from another world. On a day off, she'll visit the funny looking alpacas and give them a nice pet on the head. It's scientifically proven that contact with animals will lower your blood pressure. You should try it!

PriPara

I can safely say without hyperbole nor fear of infamy that PriPara is the best lil girl show of all time. PriPara stars Lala, a girl who loves her spaghetti hot dog as much as she enjoys going to PriPara. PriPara is a magical place where young women are indoctrinated using the power of music and dance to become "idols". All girls are sent a "friend ticket" when they reach middle school and are swiftly led down the path of the idol. Once an idol has performed enough "lives" and leveled up in the organization, they are involved in more nefarious activities. Will Lala's friends be able to stop her from being the "Divine Idol" that PriPara desperately needs?

Himouto! Umaru-chan

Himouto! Umaru-chan stars Umaru-chan the himouto. A himouto is a slackster who does no work and enjoys the lazy life of playing video games, eating snacks, and annoying their big brother. Umaru's favorite drink is cola and when she feels like mixing it up, she goes with the refreshing taste of Cola with Lemon. Umaru also has the secret identity of UMR (which looks like Umaru in a hat) UMR goes around to all the arcades downtown to win all the alpaca plushies. Will UMR be able to out-play her rival TSF? You'll need to watch the show to find out.

Tesagure! Bukatsumono Encore

The girls of Tesagure! usually just chew the cud for the entirety of each episode in this unscripted anime. Which can lead to some good things, like references to alpacas. Tesagure! is about four girls in a club about making existing clubs more exciting. And what's more exciting for the judo club than an alpaca throw?

Gintama

If you like LOUD YELLING and poop jokes then you'll love Gintama. If you enjoy laughing at good characters or story then you'll probably want to watch something else. Gintama stars wavy hair Gintoki in his attempt to poop and yell his way through life as a handyman with no money to his name.

Kuroko's Basketball Season 3

Honey soaked lemons return in season three of Kuroko's Basketball. Are these really a thing? I've never heard of them before. In this season everyone gets "in the zone" which is a literal thing to be in. If high school level sports is this crazy, I wonder how crazy the pros are? And what about other sports like baseball or football? Do those sports have superhumans competing as well? I'd rather see those. If the pros or other sports in this universe are more interesting, then why waste the viewers' time with this amateur hour stuff?

Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life: Phantasmagoric Arc

Wooser returns to his hand-to-mouth life in the Phantasmagoric Arc. In Season 3 Wooser is bigger and badder than ever, ready to take on America. He's joined by Rin, Len, Miho, Yu, Darth Wooser, Wooser News, Ajipon, The-Creature-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, Miss Monochrome, and, of course, the alpaca in the waste basket. Will Wooser finally get his way and take over the America? Or will he laze around all day dreaming of meat and schoolgirls?

The headless horseman returns for the second season of Durarara!!. Or will she just waste her time playing house with her live-in boyfriend?

Teekyu 4

The tennis champions return for a fourth season in Teekyu 4. And everyone's favorite, Marimo "Panty Eater" Bandou, still sports her alpaca hairpin. The golden girls return in the second season of Golden Mosaic. Due to the growing population of shut-ins refusing to leave their homes, Japan has decided to produce an anime that allows these losers to diagnosis and help themselves. Comical Psychosomatic Medicine uses comedy to teach otakus and shut-ins how to identify if they have become mentally ill (instead of just a standard pervert). Each episode ends with a plea for the audience to take action and seek help. Hopefully, for the sake of Japan's future, the plea does not fall on deaf ears.

Lacking in the frou-frou symbolism that weighs down other shows, Lesbear Storm focuses on the one and only thing that matters: Kicking some serious bear ass. Despite obviously being inspired by Attack on Titan, Lesbian Bear Storm easily surpasses it by making use of gruesome deaths and high-intensity action. This is a blockbuster to keep your eyes on.

All that's left is Kanye to sit back and enjoy his bitches.

Lovely Complex
