After the death of her grandmother, Ryou Machiko is living alone in the big city. Unable to deal with the isolation, Ryou creates an imaginary friend Kirin who "visits" every week to enjoy all kinds of home-cooked dishes. Ryou's dear classmate, Shiina, catches on to her poor mental state and, while engulfed in hedonism and licentiousness, decides to take advantage. Shiina now gets free meals and a show every weekend as she eats Ryou's food and watches her talk to herself.
